Authentic Arabic food. I’ve live in Arabic country for 5 years and I’m missing the food . I found this place it offers same taste as Arabic dishes. Love love it even my little boy loved the food . We ordered the good for 2 meal. And it’s amazingly yummy. Will definitely come back again when I visit McAllen tx

We were looking for Mediterranean food and we found Fares. I gotta say the food is great. We had the hummus, I couldn't even take pictures of it because it was gone by the time I realize. The kebbeh, and something else I can't remember the name, but everything was delicious. It came with pita bread which was hot and very fresh. The service was phenomenal, and they had variety of dishes and drinks. The price was a bit steep for what is being offered. I'm not saying is not worh it but I did question how they came up with their prices. Average for a dish was $30. Drinks were average $8. I would come back for sure, but not that often 🤑.

If I could put more stars, I would! My mom has been looking for restaurants that serve authentic Arabic cuisine for me to try, it is safe to say, WE HAVE FOUND IT. I have never tried this particular cuisine before so I was really excited. When you first walk in, the pleasant aroma of flavorful meat hits you, it'll make your stomach growl louder. We sat down and immediately I noticed how clear and concise the menu was, very descriptive and beautiful images of the entrées. The staff of this restaurant are highly knowledgeable and very attentive. My mom orders a bunch of entrées for us to try and I must say, it was a life changing experience. The food and flavors are ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE. All sauces are extraordinary. The hummus is top tear. The hot tea is perfect. The lamb and beef were definitely seasoned by professionals. The freshness of the vegetables are absolutely unmatched. The portion sizes are VERY generous. I've never hated my stomach for being so small. The food, overall experience, and service are definitely worth every penny. I am so grateful to have had such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was lovely. We will be coming back again. I 1000% recommend this establish

Getting straight to the point — I’ve really enjoyed eating here so far. The staff are respectful and welcoming, the food tastes great, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The only reason I’m giving this place four stars instead of five is the price. It’s not expensive enough to keep me from coming back, but it does feel slightly high for the portion size. On my most recent visit, I ordered the kofta kebab plate with hummus and a can of Dr Pepper. My total came out to about $38 after tax. If the price were around $8–$11 lower, or if the kebab portions were larger, the overall value would feel more in line with what I’ve experienced at similar restaurants. This is just my initial impression after eating here twice. Much of my comparison comes from North Texas, where there may be greater demand for this type of cuisine, which can sometimes lead to lower prices. It’s also possible that sourcing certain ingredients in the Rio Grande Valley affects menu pricing. Regardless, the food quality and experience are good, and I would still recommend trying this place at least once.

Noticed this place while driving by and decided to give it a try. Inside it was nicely decorated and well lit. Ordered hummus, yogurt salad, and pita bread for starters. For our main dish we ordered chicken curry and lamb with grilled vegetables. Our orders arrived in short time. As we shared we were both impressed with the quality, flavors, and portions. Everything was excellent. The service was great also. This was a very satisfying dinner. For dessert we tried pistachio cake with hot tea and it was a hit. We both highly recommend dinning here. 👍
